in the 17th century Nuremberg style, formed as two barrels, with reeded bands and incised with lines 12.2cm high, 5oz 5dwt, 164gr Marked under each cup with `N` town mark and maker`s mark (Roseberg, v. III, no. 4175). The marks are almost certainly spurious. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The surface or parts of the surface were presumably originally gilt. The gilding is not mostly worn away. The interior is gilt.
