each oval and with reeded scroll base and four scroll feet; TOGETHER WITH: a Russian silver salt-cellar, by Nicholai Zholin, St Petersburg, 1853, oval and with branch and foliage stamped border the Italian salt-cellars 8.4cm wide, total weight 4oz 17dwt, 151gr The Italian Salt-Cellars: Each marked underneath with Genoa town mark incorporating date. There is some wear to the marks but there are still legible. There are various assay scraps underneath. There are surface scratches and wear overall as well as splits to each. This is most obvious on one where the split runs up the side of the sale. The Russian Salt-Cellar: Fully marked underneath. There is some surface scratching and wear as well as bruising overall. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the high points.
