baluster and on spreading foot, with leaf-capped scroll handle, later chased with foliage, flowers and scrolls and engraved with initials and dated `7th Feb`y 1866` 10cm high, 7oz 1dwt, 220gr Fully marked underneath. The marks are generally clear, though the maker`s mark is somewhat poorly struck. There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is a solder repair at the lower handle junction which is slightly pushed into the body. The front has presumably been erased, though there is no obvious sign of a thin area.
