the body formed of an oval cut sapphire in a yellow millegrain setting, its wings, eyes and tail set throughout with old cut, rose cut and pear shaped diamonds in white millegrain settings, positioned centrally on a yellow bar, total estimated diamond weight 0.50 carat approximately length 5.7cm The brooch is in good condition. It fastens with a pin and C-hook catch and features a safety visor. It is stamped `15CT` and in our opinion would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 3.9 grams. CR made 22.06.22.
