a blue enamelled lozenge within a border of seed pearls, in yellow millegrain settings, sat within a frame of blue enamel with a scalloped edge, to a carved shoulder shank, engraved to the inside `J. Carling deceased 27th Jany 1854 A 37, J. Carling died 25th Dec 1854 A 48` finger size M1/2 The ring is in fair condition with possible alterations. It is hallmarked but the marks are incomplete, London, 1855. Gross weight 3.8 grams. CR made 04.07.22.
