He lives on the fringes of trends, of the prevailing marketing in the art world and of anything that smells of institutionalism.He attributes the adoption of this method to the economic crisis, but also to the improvement of computers. Working with virtual models has meant savings on the chemicals and paper that make traditional photography so expensive. In addition, he says that "it was easier to work on the computer and, in a way, I went from being a photographer to being a photologist".In his previous work there was a component of accident, of spontaneity, which has been eliminated here. Now there is more control over the process: "I can spend an hour on a single line, until I'm convinced. This adaptation to the times has given me a lot of power over the work. Virtual photography brings with it a new way of understanding art: "I would like the public to start to understand that images don't have to be in a painting. When you have a digital original, you can make a canvas, and also print it on anything else: a shower screen or wallpaper.
