此件金刚力士尺寸虽小，但造型充满了艺术性与力量感，宽肩细腰，饱满贲张的肌肉与站姿的韵律，均加强了造像整体的勇猛气势。
这种金刚力士，应为一对，是一铺大型造像的胁持护法。参考上世纪70年代出土于西安市南郊东八里村，著名的开皇四年铭董钦造铜鎏金阿弥陀佛像，高足方床上的阿弥陀佛，即有胁持二菩萨与二力士。
