此桌雕工嫻熟，四面平式的高桌，在宋代已經流行，宋人畫冊《半閒秋興圖》就有很好的畫例。到了明清，又發展出不同的式樣和造法。方材直腿，底收俊俏的高馬蹄。腿間不施棖。桌身所嵌青花瓷板，上有連環紋飾，此紋飾造型靈感來源為竹製家具上常見環形或其他幾何造形，雙環相扣紋飾之寓意吉祥，盛行於明清時期，造形近似古式錢幣，有「雙錢」之相，且音類「雙全」，吉祥之意明顯。 不同材料鑲嵌於木製家具的藏品均有多見，其中帶有吉祥雙喜之意的家具可以參考北京故宮藏八角形香幾，嵌掐絲琺瑯飾板，錄於胡德生，《故宮博物院藏明清宮廷家具大觀》，卷1，北京，2007年，圖版319。
