“笔墨缘”、“甲戌秋月石羽镌”
此方砚台乃中国紫砂工艺大师蒋蓉于暮年与省工艺美术大师沈汉生（石羽）先生的一次合作结晶。陈年紫泥为胎，圆式，砚盖与砚台子母口扣合，砚台口沿内侧低于外侧，起拦水墙作用，砚池下凹，至中心点最低。直壁，圈足，平底。底部中心钤印一方，内刻阳体篆书蒋蓉二字。砚盖顶部以刀代笔阴刻“笔墨缘”三字草书，洋洋洒洒，龙飞凤舞，落款“甲戌秋月石羽镌”。甲戌年，即1994年，时年蒋蓉大师75高龄，亦是其艺术巅峰阶段。沈汉生，别号石羽，师从范泽林、任淦庭老艺人，专攻金石陶刻。砚台蒋蓉手作，石羽镌刻。二者珠联璧合，成就佳砚一方。
