Description

此炉口外敞，素朴如意耳，腹形如喇叭，平底起一周凸棱台，下承三象首足，炉底铸方框减地阳文“大明宣德年制”三行六字楷书款，字体工整有度。法盏炉的器型仿自元朝枢府窑款式，是道家施法时所用的法器。在宣德炉谱中，分有“雁翎法盏炉”、“悬珠法盏炉”和“连珠法盏炉”三种，宣德皇帝以此御赐天下道观。此炉周身赤红色皮壳，光泽可鉴，细腻如肌肤，抚之彷佛可以揉动。红皮下，铜色金光闪闪，宝光内含。持之十分压手，足见选用铜质的精良。整器虽官气十足，却丝毫不失典雅，可谓铜炉收藏中不可多得的精品。
