|说明：玉质白净，细腻莹润，圆雕回首卧象，象鼻外甩，鼻端上卷，嘴际长牙伸于鼻外向前拢合，象耳似随风摆动。身躯庞大，四肢粗壮结实，皮肤褶皱分明，象尾帖服，自然下垂。躯干宏伟雄壮，身披垂地锦缎，上以剔地阳文琢刻海山祥云纹，下坠璎珞。象背上圆雕一折枝牡丹，枝干遒劲，花蕾含苞待放，一小童盘坐象背，头梳双髻，眉开眼笑，手握花枝；另一小童立于象侧，一手持灵芝，一手高举握住花叶，喜气洋洋。面部表情、衣着纹理，皆刻画精细，栩栩如生。童子戏象，为古代玉雕传统吉祥题材，古时内地并不产象，象为藩属国进贡之物，往往国力强盛时才能有象来朝，寓有富贵吉祥、太平有象之美意。此摆件取材上乘，琢磨精良，华贵典雅，为清代玉雕之精品。|参阅： 《故宫玉器图典》，故宫出版社，p266，图202
