菩萨头戴华丽的花冠，面颊丰润，相容寂静，佩戴璎珞钏环，繁缛华丽。双手当胸结说法印，肩头齐平绽放莲花，左肩莲花托般若波罗蜜多梵匣，代表般若智慧浩瀚如经卷，右肩莲花托宝剑，表示菩萨的智慧如利剑，能斩断一切烦恼与愚痴，是文殊菩萨的重要识别。全跏趺坐于双层莲花台座上。 此尊文殊菩萨明显具有元代宫廷造像的特点，躯体比例匀称，饱满而富有弹性，形态自然，反映了此时期造像高超的艺术技巧，明显可见尼泊尔艺术风格的影响。底座莲瓣满饰一周，排列整齐，莲花瓣圆润饱满，瓣尖卷云饰之，典型的元代宫廷造像表现手法，制作精当。
