款识：志成先生正，于右任。 钤印：右任 释文：无风香自远，有志事终成。上联“无风香自远”一句，集自苏轼《杜沂游武昌以酴醿花菩萨泉见饷二首》中，原诗句为：“不妆艳已绝，无风香自远”。下联“有志事终成”一句，出自《后汉书·耿弇传》：“将军前在南阳，建此大策，常以为落落难合，有志者事竟成也。” 因对联上下联语的字平仄应当相对，故于右任特将“事竟成”改为“事终成。”集前人诗句或文句而成对联，这是对联创作中常用的艺术手法。对联上下联字数相等，且对仗整齐，若用篆、隶、楷、行或今草等书体书写，其章法均“如排算子”；而以草书写对联，则可以避免章法上的呆板，为对联作品增添灵动的神采。
