此黄花梨文具盘呈正方形，四边格角以铜活固定，底板打槽装板。四面镶嵌经过镌刻的海贝、夜光螺、砗磲等壳片，构成花卉图案。盘下设四足，足下带罗锅枨。雕工精细，制用精良，取材上乘，保存完好，为实用佳品。参阅：徐湖平主编《宫廷珍藏—中国清代官窑瓷器》第55页，南京博物院编著，上海文化出版社，2003年。
