陳舊村(1898-1958)名永，字舊村，一字樹雲、如雲，又字蘊石，無錫縣人。918年得汪精山介紹從國畫家王雲軒學畫，常與師兄鄭午昌常切磋畫藝，後得其姐夫資助，遂入上海中華美校習西畫。至於1920年畢業。返錫後，先後在經皋高等女校、縣立商業中學、榮巷工中學任國畫教員。1925年至於1923年，與胡丁鷺、賀天健等創辦“錫山書畫社”和無錫美術學校，任國畫教授。在八年教學中造就了不少藝術人材。之後，又與錢松岩、陳負蒼創辦振南國畫學校。陳負蒼（1906—1984）：名鳳，字負蒼。江蘇無錫人，師從王雲軒，與孫葆羲、 陳舊村、鄧季超、蔡光甫同為鶴巢門下五大高足，三十年代與錢松嵒、陳舊村等創辦振南國畫函授學校，廣招學員，傳授繪藝。工書， [1] 工山水人物，花鳥走獸,尤精仕女。
