Double fine blue ring on the upper neck and foot base. The exterior decorated in DouCai hand painting of colorful tones of floral blooms called Three friends in the winter. DouCai means colors which fit together" and can be seen by the harmoniously painted floral design covering the bowls outer surface. All sets over clean pale white underglaze base ground. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct, the composition is sophisticated and the colors are a feast for the eye.
