In bronze and gilded brass, tower-shaped, main dial at 24 o'clock with two concentric hour scales (I to XII and 13 to 24) around an engraved disc of the alarm clock, a single openworked iron hand, auxiliary dial for the quarter hours, on the back dial for setting the alarm and the alarm; movement with three iron and brass gear bodies with pillars, spindle with gut string, barrel for the alarm, horizontal rod escapement with single balance (posterior conversion), quarter strike on two stamps, alarm striking on a stamp mounted below the movement ; case in bronze and gilded brass with a three-tiered base of two mouldings on four claw feet, bearing the square tower with detachable glazed ribs, surmounted by a dome with four terraces concealing two stamps, corner pieces and arcades formed by baluster pillars, the case entirely engraved with a symmetrical decoration of flowers, fruits and leaves on a dotted background; the base openworked at the centre of each side
