和合，民间传说古已有之，主婚姻和合，故亦作和合二圣。清代的众多器物上都能见到和合二仙的身影。此笔筒中间为浮雕和合二仙，乘槎浮于波涛之间，其壹袒衣持扇，跣足立于莲舟之上；另一背向而坐，执帚为桨。面目慈祥，彼此相视，谈笑甚欢；和合二仙的上端云纹曲折多变，张弛有度，舟下波浪翻卷，线条流畅，刻工粗细结合，整体构造动感十足。
