此熏炉铜质，整体由盖及器身及背光三部分组成，通体鎏金。炉盖戴骷髅头饰，怒目浓眉，张口獠牙，耳际缯带飘扬，肩披帛带，项挂连珠长链，怀抱明妃，交脚坐于覆莲座上，造型奇特、生动异常。炉身绘花卉纹，口沿落款大清乾隆年造，背光似熊熊燃烧的火焰，上嵌绿松石。整体制作工艺精细，皮殻包浆润泽，既具殿堂陈设器的堂皇优雅气质，又有焚香静心之用，品相完美，题材少见，乃藏家收藏之佳品。能食空行金刚是密宗修行者不可缺少的一种护法。造像口朝上张开，具有吞噬一切不洁之物和净坛之力，他能把经过修法诵咒而使众生各种痛苦变成的芝麻（或者芥子）吃进口里，因他的肚里有火，火将芝麻烧掉，于是众生痛苦即被消除。
