寬口外反，腹部圓鼓，下收，足端外撇。本器裝飾相當豐富，以花卉為主題，再以橘紅彩裝點，運用刻花、剔花手法表現，線條豪氣流暢，近底處刻有「宣和元年春張泰造」八字。磁州窯為宋代民間窯場一大代表，在宋元眾多瓷窯中風騷獨領。裝飾技法豐富多變是磁州窯的重要特色，別具一格，畫師們以瀟灑的手法和高妙的畫技，將民間喜聞樂見的花鳥魚蟲、珍禽瑞獸、山水人物、戲曲故事、詩詞曲賦、格言民諺、嬰戲雜劇等繪於瓷器，保留了大量古代民間繪畫、書法及反映民俗民風的實物資料。如本件花彩繪小罐，質樸、灑脫、明快、豪放的藝術風格及濃鬱的民間色彩和鮮明的民族特色，可謂是磁州窯中的代表之作。
