款识：徐世昌||钤印：徐世昌印、鞠人 |释文：爱与贤良棉德誉，学将礼教聚文盟。||说明：文物公司旧藏||徐世昌（1855-1939），字卜五，号菊人、鞠人、东海、弢斋，别署水竹村人、石门山人，室名退耕堂、海西草堂、归云楼、天津人。清光绪进士，授翰林院编修，军机大臣，东三省第一任总督。民国七年（1918年）至民国十一年（1922年）任北洋政府大总统。此人国学功底深厚，著书立言，涉猎广泛，素有“文章魁首”之誉。对书画艺术，他身体力行，竭力倡导，并且以独具特色的艺术风格跻身于书坛画界，成为20世纪颇富影响力的书画名家和京津画派的扛鼎人物。
