|上乐金刚是无上瑜伽部母续的本尊，是三世诸佛的金刚身、语、意所依，也是诸佛功德的总集代表，还是藏密无上瑜伽修法中尊奉的五大本尊之一。上乐金刚是佛陀为镇压印度教主湿婆而化现胜乐62 尊愤怒相，传给佛弟子。在无上瑜伽密法法系中，格鲁派最注重的是胜乐、密集和大威德三尊。此尊胜乐金刚拥抱其明妃金刚亥母右展姿站立，佩戴人头和骷髅挂饰，发髻高束，戴五骷髅冠，主尊一面三目，双臂拥抱明妃，与其明妃互相凝视，手执金刚杵、金刚铃交叉于明妃背后，火焰背光于后方，造像主尊，明妃，背光均为分体铸造。整体制作工艺精致细腻，品相完美。是一件及赋西藏同时期造像中不可多得的藏品。
