|西藏||十八世纪||棉布矿物颜料||阿弥陀佛为五方佛中的西方佛，亦称莲华部，居于西方极乐世界。阿弥陀佛净土是初期大乘佛教净土的两大主流之一，为佛果的终究圆满。唐卡主尊阿弥陀佛其身红色，头饰蓝色螺发，面相圆润，身着福田格袈裟，双手结禅定印托钵盂，形象庄严慈祥。阿弥陀佛跏趺端坐于莲花座上，坐前环绕观音、弥勒等八大菩萨。一派祥和美妙的景象。金刚宝坐前方有大莲池，莲池内往生极乐净土的善男信女，由莲花中托生。阿弥陀佛周围以山峦相隔，如同连环画一般展现了佛祖的生平功德。或讲经说法，普洒慧雨；或施药治病，救苦救难。整幅画面构图饱满，内容丰富，题材殊胜，宗教与艺术价值兼而有之，不可多得。
