|此砚由端石制成，色泛紫褐，呈椭圆形，砚池较浅，平整，顶端凿刻一云朵状墨池，边缘起线，砚边缘刻卷云装饰。底部刻绘兰草纹，采用浅浮雕手法，表现得淋漓尽致。砚台侧面落款“李雨心赏”印章款。端砚为四大名砚之首，产自广东肇庆市。肇庆古称端州，故名“端砚”，最早产于唐代武德年间，至今已有近1300年历史，宋朝著名诗人张九成赋诗赞道：“端溪古砚天下奇，紫装夜半吐虹霓。”端砚的历史悠久，石质优良，雕刻精美，此砚堪称代表。
