|在佛教中，护法神不但守护宗教与神佛，也守护寺庙、僧人，更加会守护信徒，保障信徒的吉祥、平安。此尊护法神侧舒坐于象背之上，象呈行走姿态，立于单层莲花底座上。护法右手持杵半举，左手当胸结期克印。头戴五叶宝冠，头髪高高束起，缯带卷曲于耳后，颈饰项圈，天衣飘摆，于脑后呈拱型，并顺两臂自然飘下。手足刻划细腻写实。方圆形底座，莲瓣宽扁，底座上缘饰连珠纹。应为须弥山坛城上随侍菩萨之一。
