|本品制作工艺复杂，盖顶做镂空设计，精巧新颖，菱形开光内绘缠枝灵芝图，四角处饰折枝灵芝纹样，盖沿及盒口沿各饰卷草纹一周，其上下分承缠枝灵芝纹。底书青花“大明万历年制”六字楷书款。此器胎厚体重坚缜，青花色泽纯正浓艳，纹饰图案繁而不乱，镂空工艺的运用令层次丰富清晰。镂雕是万历官窑热衷使用的装饰技法，然烧造极为不易，往往导致器物疵裂变形，为当时窑业之大患。《明神宗实录》载，万历十二年（1584）：三月己亥“科都给事中王敬民极言瓷器烧造之苦与玲珑奇巧之难。得旨，棋盘、屏风减半烧造。然本品器型周正，无变形之虞，实为万历朝的佳作。||来源：伦敦苏富比，1987年12月15日，编号146
