|此香熏造型高大威武，狮子强壮健硕，肌体线条丰满，狮尾蓬松，其下鬃尾丝丝飘曳，狮爪锋芒坚利，狮头肥耳飘坠，眼球怒睁，宽鼻翘展，大嘴横启，獠牙暴凸，鬃毛螺卷，胸系锦带，挂悬璎珞，装饰华丽，背上驮着龙空蛟龙祥云香熏，四足饰三趾兽爪，扑地壮实有力。是器恢宏大气，作工精致，乃为清时皇族豪贵镇宅陈设之用，经历数百年得以完好传承，十分难得。狮子在中国古代是祥瑞之兽，狻猊是狮子的古称，除了“龙九子”名目中说它属于龙族之外，其他地方皆是指狮子，由于其平生喜静不喜动，好坐，又喜欢烟火，佛祖见它有耐心，便收在坐下当了坐骑，因此佛座上和香炉上的脚部装饰就是它的造像。
