白玉玉料，局部留有玉皮成黃褐色，帶有沁斑。器呈橢圓形，尖端突出，尾端渾圓，中有一半圓孔。兩側雕刻螭龍，攀爬於玉珮上，造型生動。螭首五官明確，圓眼微凸，頭頂琢有一對小立耳，為宋代螭龍特色之一。龍角向上卷起，龍身扭轉修長，較戰漢時之螭龍紋纖細。螭尾叉開，彎曲流轉，浪漫飄逸。採用高浮雕技法，螭龍與器表距離甚遠，展現立體感。雞心珮是韘形珮的俗稱，由玉韘演變而來，為漢代常見的一種珮飾，魏晉南北朝以後少見，至宋代後出現仿制。本器所琢螭龍靈巧生動又不失古味，在戰漢遺風中仍韻有宋代典雅秀麗的獨特風貌。參閱 香港嘉德，2016/11/29，Lot1136，《六朝至宋白玉高浮雕螭龍紋谷紋出廓玉璧》，寬7.5公分，成交價HK 295,000。
