签名：1985.7 Luo中立|来源：原藏家购自1994年苏富比台北46号拍品。||罗中立，原籍四川壁山县，生于重庆。1968年于四川美术学院附中毕业后，去大巴山钢铁厂当工人。1978年考入四川美院油画系，1982年毕业留校任教。1983年至1986年去比利时留学，进安特卫普皇家美术学院学习油画，获硕士学位。1984年和1985年先后在比利时布鲁塞尔、美国波士顿举办个人画屏。台湾“山艺术文教基金会”设立了“罗中立油画奖学金”。现为四川美院副教授，中国美术家协会会员。擅长油画，《父亲》获第二届全国青年美展一等奖，中国美术馆收藏；《春蚕》为哈佛纳画廊收藏；《巴山组画》其中两幅为中国美术馆收藏。
