Description

此尊造像造型、面相及装饰风格具有典型的东北印度帕拉艺术风格。度母右手自然放置膝上结与愿印，左手执莲花置于当胸结说法印，左腿横盘，右腿脚踏一朵莲花，右舒展坐于莲花座上，姿态优美。度母头戴宝冠，面庞丰润，神态庄严。束发于右侧，缯带在耳际上扬，耳戴圆形耳铛，佩戴项饰，莲花及发顶镶嵌宝石，阔胸细腰，身姿曼妙。上身着交领式天衣，躯体比例匀称，肌肉饱满而富有弹性，形态自然，尤其是胸部刻划丰满写实，具有很强的艺术效果，这是此时期帕拉造像中常用的装饰手法。下身着贴体长裙，錾刻梅花状纹饰，左腿盘坐，右足下垂踩于莲花之上，束腰仰覆式莲花座，莲瓣雕刻圆润细致，挺拔有力，工艺精湛反映了此时期造像高超的艺术技巧。整体合金黄铜，铸造技艺精湛，加工手法娴熟，包浆丰润，是帕拉造像艺术中代表性作品。
