Description

金刚手菩萨因手持金刚杵，并且常侍于佛祖身侧，被敬称为金刚手菩萨。因其具有降魔伏怪的巨大神力，在藏区僧俗心中，金刚手菩萨是众护法神灵之主。此尊红发竖立，头戴叶冠，双目睁视，龇牙卷舌，呈现大忿怒形象。身躯肥胖，肚腹圆鼓，带有象征降服业障的长蛇链饰，左手结期克印，右手高举，并持有法器金刚杵。下身围兽皮裙，双腿呈展立姿态。下承莲座，莲瓣宽肥平缓，上下错落，有着早期造像遗韵。背后有舟型的火焰背光。整像造型古朴，人物稚拙，工艺简洁，线条流畅，是一尊极具美感的西藏佛教艺术作品。
