在藏传佛教中，几乎所有僧众都极为崇奉金刚萨埵。他们认为所有坛城的神尊、所有诸佛菩萨和他们的无量净土，以及所有密法及密续一切诀窍，皆由金刚萨埵产生出来。虔诚供奉此尊，能够得到极大加持力，获得非常殊胜的密法成就。此尊头挽高发髻，冠饰华丽而精美。面庞清秀，五官俊美，洋溢着青春气息。上身肢体柔软，披有云肩，钏镯等饰物一应俱全，身后帔帛飘扬。左手持金刚铃，右手捧金刚杵。下身着紧身几何纹长裙，跏趺坐于莲花座上。整像人物造型生动，富有写实趣味，彰显出西藏本土艺术爆发后的艺术审美，更兼整像镶嵌有许多宝石，更添其收藏和投资价值。
