毗湿奴为印度教三大主神之一，为“创造”、“毁灭”、“维护”三相中的维护之神。此尊头束高发髻，戴三角形五叶冠饰，面庞方圆，眉眼上挑，额部形成弓形，表情俊逸，洋溢着青春气息。上身躯体劲健，左上臂持法轮，右上臂持权杖，下左臂持海螺，下右臂持莲花，双腿跨坐于迦楼罗王身上。迦楼罗王呈蹲姿，双身合十，背有双翅，现虔诚礼敬状。主尊两侧涌莲之上为毗湿奴大神的两位妻子：吉祥天女拉克希米和大地女神布什蒂，下承莲花宝座，宝座侧面还雕刻有供养人形象。整像人物造型、题材内容都符合11-12世纪帕拉风格造像的艺术特征，展现出帕拉风格晚期俊美、华丽的艺术风韵，堪称是帕拉风格造像的杰出作品
