|玉质上乘，玉理精坚，细腻润白，包浆油亮，头部略带洒金皮色，古雅动人。圆雕一瑞兽，呈蹲伏状，昂首前视，水滴形眼圆凸，炯炯有神，狮子鼻，方嘴，颌下留长须飘于胸前，口衔灵芝仙草，丰润灵秀。额部削平，颇具特色，巧妙打两孔对穿勾勒出瑞兽之角，亦可用于穿系，头顶留一层天然皮色，取其『鸿运当头』之美意。身躯肥硕可爱背部丰盈隆起，打磨细致，线条流畅，四肢健壮收于腹下，关节处浅浮雕火焰纹为饰，蹄部细节清晰分明，短尾下垂贴于臀部。瑞兽在古代历史中有着丰富的文化意义，它象征着神秘和力量，能避邪纳福，整器材美工精，于安详沉静之中又带有仙风道骨，颇具神秘气息，令人爱不释手。||[ 参阅 ]|《故宫博物院藏文物珍品全集·玉器（上）》，商务印书馆，页189，图220
