|▲||提要：堪称目前所见最大开本之古籍。汉石经复原，始自王国维。王氏研魏石经，有《魏石经考》《魏石经碑图考》。石经残字收集，早期为罗振玉，辑有《汉熹平石经残字》四卷。在罗王之后，进行汉石经研究的是张国淦。张国淦曾任民国国务院秘书长、总统府秘书长，并任农商、教育、内务、司法等各部总长。1926年，张先生激流勇退，专事著述，自甘清贫。有《历代石经考》、《汉石经碑图》等著作行世。张国淦《汉石经碑图》为石经复原开篇之作，其四十六碑九十二面复原图成为百年来学者汉石经研究的基础性依托。
