此尊精铜所铸，胎体厚重，口沿微撇，粗颈稍束，溜肩敛腹，下承三兽足。通体纹饰繁密，分别饰有海水纹、交体龙纹、几何纹、菱花锦纹及夔龙纹。腹部纹饰之上浮雕有网状绳络纹，绳结缠绕仿佛麻丝所制，造型极为写实。底部三足刻画亦无偷工，双耳俏立贴于器身，独角前倚，双目圆睁，咧口露齿，下吐蹄状足，踞地沉稳。
拍品之形制源自挂绳络之陶罐，铜制绳络纹尊战国已有之，后世多有仿制，尤以明末清初之时为盛。
