此瓶形制硕大，撇口、束颈、溜肩、垂腹，外撇圈足。肩部两侧设活环耳，比例略小，却显精致。纹饰共两段，颈部饰兽面纹，双目圆睁，威严神秘，余部以细密规整的云雷纹相填；腹部带状开光内饰富于动感的海水纹，其波涛翻涌，层次分明。其余部分通素无纹饰，比对简繁相宜，搭配妥帖饱满，纹饰过渡自然，海水纹极富弹性，翻卷舒展，韵律感强。
