Ca. 1100–1400 AD. A bronze finger ring comprising a round hoop and applied large circular bezel, featuring a star of Bethlehem motif framed with etched borders. The Star of Bethlehem is a significant symbol that has been used throughout the centuries to represent Christianity. During the Crusades, it was popularly used in Christian jewellery to symbolize the birth of Jesus Christ and honor his divine mission.
