此拍品为97水蓝印是指1997年勐海茶厂生产的7542青饼，因外包装为大口中，且八中茶标志之“茶”字颜色偏水蓝色而得名。昌泰茶业集团与香港茶商于2007年合作，收集一批97水蓝印，然后撬成散块，以每盒50克，为每箱60盒进行包装后全面推出。由于铁罐密封保存，冲泡之前需醒茶数日，干茶茶菁条索粗壮，散面细嫩，深深的栗红色茶汤晶莹剔透，汤水厚实饱满，生津回甘强烈，梅香（果香）明显，茶气足，喉韵佳，叶底油光栗红泛青，柔韧而富有弹性。
97水蓝印作为国营勐海茶厂的经典产品，经岁月磨练，品质历久弥坚，大部分落入普洱茶藏家之手，市面撬开品饮甚少，此款性价比非常高，受到众多茶友热捧。
