此件印章盒主体以紫檀木为材，木质纹理色泽极佳。整作长方体形，盖面平整，至缘边微微弧收，蕴于变化，直壁，盒内承盘巧做子口，盖、身子母口扣合紧密，腹下略圆收，平底。传世的印章盒较多，但如此精工别致者，却为罕见，其通体未作过多雕饰，呈现木质天然纹理，隽雅敦秀，朴实无华，与印盒整体简约造型搭配相宜，反映出清代木作风格特点，可窥见士人旨趣和风格。
