Description NASA photograph depicting a damaged service module after separation prior to re-entry. Signed and annotated by Fred Haise (American, b. 1933). The message reads "The damage looked much worse than expected from the 'loud bang!' Apollo 13 LMP." The photograph with the serial number AS13-58-8464.Condition Report There are no rips, tears, or losses. The sheet is toned and there is a slight undulation to it. There are a few areas of soiling: along the left margin running the length of the edge; one small red spot along the lower right margin; one small network of black spots along the right center margin. There is a line or crease running horizontally through the center of the photograph. Along the verso the caption that is taped to the back is slightly toned. The two pieces of clear tape holding the paper to the photograph are yellowed. The autograph itself is in good condition and there do not appear to be any fading or losses to the inscription.Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
