本品为观音瓶形，器型婷立，曲线婀娜，胎质坚密，釉面莹洁，紧皮亮釉，以青花装饰，繪通景人物故事纹饰，为桐叶封弟题材， “桐叶封弟”出自《史记·晋世家》，故事主要讲述了西周时期，周成王年少时与其弟弟叔虞一起游戏，并削桐叶为珪赐予叔虞，并戏言以此桐叶封叔虞到唐作诸侯。于是史官让成王选择封侯的时日，但成王言“吾与之戏耳”。史官言“天子无戏言”，于是叔虞就被分封到唐做了诸侯。后以“桐叶封弟”特指帝王封拜。绘画笔法娴熟，洒脱飘逸，青花发色翠蓝欲滴，实属康熙精佳珍稀之作。
