本品为束腰形笔海，器型硕大，胎质坚白致密，釉面肥莹，以青花装饰，繪通景山水人物题材，但见远山苍茫，近石嶙峋，古树葱茏，亭台掩映，细波粼粼，斜阳残照，画中人物，或携琴访友，或扁舟溪度，一派仙隐气象，意境高远，虽做于瓷面，不输宣纸，俨然一幅水墨丹青之力做，绘画技法精到，采用分水法、皴染法等将山石、树木，江面之远近、阴阳、向背表现的淋漓尽致，青花发色青翠淡雅，实为崇祯精品力作。
