作者简介：朱梅邨(1911-1993)，名德磷，又名兆，号梅邨，亦作某邨，别号花野渔父，别署独眼半聋居士。斋号万里楼、半僧草堂。江苏苏州人。幼年从师樊少云，十三岁起随舅父吴湖帆学画，并研诗、读古文六年。十九岁即以卖画为生，闻名画坛。20世纪30年代与叶恭绰、吴湖帆、张大千、冯超然等前辈一起组织“正社画会”。曾任故宫博物院赴伦敦画展保管员、全国美展古画部保管员，得以饱览古代名迹。1950年后入中国画研究会，任上海中国画院画师、上海市文史馆馆员、中国美术家协会会员。
擅长山水、花鸟、人物，取法宋元明诸家，水墨青绿、工笔写意皆能。山水苍润古厚，仕女清丽秀媚。
