The wells decorated in underglaze blue with red, yellow and green enamels, one plate with peonies floating amongst seigaiha (stylised waves), the other with further peonies growing from a rocky outcrop, both reverse sides with three shippo-tsunagi (linked-cash) motifs and raised on a high comb foot, 21cm max.
