飞雪地，是在白料制作时加入絮状添加物，烧制成功后内部宛如漫天飞雪一般，意境高远；此件烟壶以飞雪料为底，器身复套红料，纹饰以九鼎装饰，寓意一言九鼎。此类题材唤作博古图，源自宣和博古图，为宋代宫廷收藏先秦鼎彞器之图谱，后世皆以此为达官显贵、仕途平顺的代表。
