造像以整木龙眼木圆雕而就，身着宽袍大袖，头髻高耸，长须垂胸，其开脸方圆，双眼微合，面目坚毅，扶坐于山石旁。脚旁有麋鹿抬头相望。整体刻画刀法明快，刀法婉转流畅，刻画生动传神，细节表现一丝不苟。整器包浆浓厚，树瘿隐于皮壳之下，颇得自然之趣，人物神态雕刻生动，精细度恰到好处，显示树木根部天然古拙之美，十分难得。
