Description A LANGYAO PORCELAIN BRUSHPOT, BITONG, c. 1920sChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic Period (1912-1949). Of beaker form, with flaring foot and mouth, covered to the exterior in an unctuous glaze of rich crushed-strawberry tone, the interior and base glazed in white, the foot rim left unglazed.Condition: Very good condition, minor wear, and manufacturing flaws including firing cracks, pitting, dark spots, and kiln grit.Provenance: French private collection, according to the current owner acquired from the private collection of Henri Crocq, UK.Weight: 1,608 gDimensions: Height 16.7 cm
