It is presumed to have been painted in oil on a single piece oak panel. The panel is beveled on the reverse on all four sides. The grain direction is horizontal. The paint and ground layers are stable, with no signs of flaking or recent losses. The painting has been recently restored. The existing varnish and most recent retouching have not discoloured or degraded to a significant degree. In the sky and to the top left of the tower there is some more recent correction of older retouching. The surface gloss is even and saturating."In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
