白玉质，玉质细腻、油润浑厚，包浆古旧，光气十足。器物采用圆雕、镂雕的写实技法，雕琢五子登科传统题材，五个童子，他们姿态各异，或手握锣鼓，或手持如意，或挑寿桃，或游戏嬉闹，十分喜庆可人。童子面部表情丰富，喜笑颜开，圆头鼓脑，直鼻小口，稚气可爱，五官雕琢清晰，衣着线条刻画流畅。其身侧琢一瓶，寓意平安，瓶身光素无纹，内部掏膛干净。整体造型别具一格，用料硕大，雕琢精细，是一件不为多见的藏品。
